Answer) No, J.W. Rutherford Builder, Inc. can begin planninga custom home before a lot is selected. Assistance in lot selection in the Texas Hill Country is also available.

Question) Do I need to speak with an architect, and have have a floor plan selected prior to meeting with you?

Answer) Although most of our clients provide their own plans, J.W. Rutherford Builder, Inc. can assist in designing your custom home.

Question) How long does it take to build a home?

Answer) Every custom home is unique, and construction time varies per individual home. Most of our homes are built within a 6 to 9 month period.

Question) Do I need to consult a mortgage company prior to meeting with you?

Answer) No, we would be happy to discuss your custom home before or after a mortgage has been arranged.
